How To Access Task Manager On Remote Computer
If you want to view Task Manager on the remote PC without going to it physically, you can access the remote PC from your local computer and then open Task Manager remotely.
Part 1. Control The Remote PC From Your Local Device
In many cases, you can access and control the remote computer just using Windows Remote Desktop Connection.
However, you can use it to control Windows 11/10/7 Home computer and require complicated port forwarding when that PC and your local device are on different networks.

Step 1. Install and run it on the computer that needs to be accessed and your local computer.
Step 2. Create an AnyViewer account and log in to this account on both computers to assign the PCs to the account.

You can replace Ctrl + Alt + Delete with Ctrl + Shift + Esc to view Task Manager on the remote computer.
Way 3. Run Taskmgr From The Run Box
On the remote session window, press Windows + R to open Run window. Then, input taskmgr.exe and hit Enter. Then, you can make Task Manager appears remotely.
Access Task Manager On Remote Computer From CMD
If you want to access Task Manager remotely without running a remote session, you can turn to CMD. Here are the detailed steps:
Step 1. Open Search box, input cmd, right click Command Prompt and choose Run as administrator.
Step 2. In the pop-up windows, input Tasklist /S [host name or IP address of the remote computer] /U [username of the account of the remote PC] /P [password of the account] and click Enter to see what processes and programs are running on the remote computer.
Warning: To use remote tasklist command, make sure that the remote computer satisfies the following conditions:
1. DCOM Server Process Launcher, Remote Procedure Call, and RPC Endpoint Mapper should be running on the remote computer.
2. Remote Assistance should be allowed to go through Windows Firewall.
3. File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks and Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) in Network Connections needs to be enabled.
